This notice explains how Brassroll Pty Ltd (“we”) handles personal information collected through the brassroll.com website and through correspondence sent to us. Brassroll’s Arsenal has its own privacy policy.

What the website records

The website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, has no forms and loads nothing from other sites. Email links open your own email app.

The website is hosted by Spaceship, Inc., a United States company, on servers in Singapore. Those servers log each request, recording among other things the visitor’s IP address, the page requested, the page that linked to it, the time and the browser’s description of itself. Spaceship handles the logs under its own privacy policy.

We have access to the logs and use them to keep the website secure and working, and to produce aggregate statistics such as how often each page is viewed. We do not use them to identify or track individual visitors.

Correspondence

When you write to us, we receive your contact details and whatever you include, and use them to reply and to deal with what you raise. Our email is hosted by Spaceship (Spacemail), so email you send us may be stored or accessed in the United States or elsewhere outside Australia.

Disclosure

Apart from our hosting provider, we disclose personal information only where the law requires or authorises it.

Access, correction and complaints

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@brassroll.com. We will delete it unless we are obliged to keep it.

Complaints about how we have handled your personal information also go to info@brassroll.com. We will deal with your complaint and give you our decision within 28 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
