Brassroll's Arsenal: support
Email info@brassroll.com. We try to reply within a few working days. From the app, More, Suggestions and feedback starts an email with the app and phone versions filled in; you can see and change everything before it is sent.
Questions and answers
Does the app send my records anywhere?
No. The app has no internet access, no account and no analytics. Your records stay on your phone unless you choose to save or share a backup, report or file. See the privacy policy.
I have lost my records. Can you get them back?
No: your records are stored only on your phone, and we cannot see or recover them. To restore them, use a backup you made (More, Settings, Backup and restore) with its password.
I have forgotten my backup password.
It cannot be recovered or reset, and the backup cannot be opened without it. Keep the password somewhere safe when you make a backup.
How do I move to a new phone?
Use More, Move to a new phone and follow the steps on both phones. The transfer is encrypted with a one-time code shown only on the old phone.
Does the app tell me what the law requires?
No. It is a record-keeping aid, not legal advice. It shows the participation figures it uses and how each was checked, and you can change any of them. Requirements differ between states and change: check them with your firearms registry and club.
Who can use it?
Licensed shooters aged 18 and over. Much of the detailed guidance in the app is written for New South Wales so far; other states and territories are being added.
